General Format Information

The next American Linear Collider Meeting will take place January 9-11, 2003
on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). The University is
one of fourteen campuses of the University of Texas System, and is located in
the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, a short drive south of the
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The Thursday opening plenary session will take place in the Nedderman Hall 100
Auditorium of the UTA College of Engineering. The Thursday afternoon parallel
sessions will be held in the same building. The remainder of the meeting will
be held in the University Center.

Accommodation for the meeting has been arranged at several nearby hotels at
specially reduced rates. It should be noted that Arlington has NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT
and it is assumed that participants will rent cars at the airport upon arrival.
An arrangement has been made with Avis Car Rental to make cars available to
participants at reduced rates. The University is a short drive away from the
hotels and, since the University will be on vacation during the meeting, there
will be ample parking available close to the meeting locations.

During the meeting, refreshments for breaks, lunch each day, and
dinner/social event will be provided and is included in the registration fee.
